Our Arborists prune and shape trees and shrubs with health, safety and artistic considerations in mind. We prune to emphasize a tree’s natural shape. If a tree must be removed, our expert professionals can safely take it down. If the tree has structural problems, we can minimize the exposure to risk. In natural disaster situations, we provide priority, emergency tree damage service to our clients. We also provide stump-grinding services. All of our work is performed in accordance with ANSI A300 tree pruning standards.
Pruning trees may have many purposes and objectives. The American National Standard for Tree Care Operations ANSI A300 (Part 1)-2008 is the current standard we follow for planning and executing our tree care work specifications. These standards are followed and discussed with our customers before every pruning job to ensure the appropriate objectives are satisfied.
Our goal is to balance those objectives with aesthetics, risk reduction, and the overall health of the tree. The common pruning objectives include:
When trees die, become unsafe or cause property damage, removal may be necessary. Dead or diseased trees create hazards, which may result in property damage. Contact us to evaluate your tree needs.
Trees with significant leans or weak branching characteristics may require various methods of cabling and bracing to reduce the risk of tree failure. Contact us to evaluate your tree’s need for cabling and bracing.
As many existing trees mature and approach mortality, we plant trees of various sizes to help maintain a balanced urban tree population. Trees provide a tremendous value to our urban environments. Trees improve air quality, enhance property values, and provide beauty, screening, and shade. Contact us to help you plant the right tree in the right place.
Our goal in tree care is to reduce the risk of tree failures; however, these failures are part of life living amongst the trees. The following photos depict actual emergency situations. Contact us to have one of our arborists inspect your tree to help reduce failure potential.
Fertilization is utilized to provide deficient nutrients or offset environmental stressors. Proper nutrition is one of the most important factors in plant health care. A properly fertilized, vigorous plant is more resistant to problems like insects and diseases. A program of fertilization by means of deep root soil injection can serve to stimulate feeder root development, offset shock/stress as related to construction and/or environmental factors, encourage vigor, reduces soil compaction and compensates for any encroachment of natural root feeding areas. We also offer a service that treats plants with a beneficial root fungus and root stimulant called Mycorrhizae. This all-natural product improves root development, aids in water and nutrient absorption, and helps protect against certain root diseases.
